Sales Administrator

Reports to: Director of Customer Service & Sales Support

The primary responsibility of this position is to process all purchase orders and requests for information in a timely, accurate and professional manner in accordance with all established Aviom, Inc. policies and procedures. This position is also the frontline of communication for incoming calls from Aviom’s domestic & international professional representatives, dealers and end-users.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following and other duties may be assigned.
  • Enter and maintain international orders and domestic orders
  • Type performa invoices for international orders
  • Customer Support – Provide accurate verification of stock levels, back order status, pricing, and scheduled shipments.
  • Track shipments for Channel Partners
  • Transfer inventory for International orders
  • Communicate and assist Channel Partner force including problem resolution, track new customer applications, monitor customer status, and other information needs
  • Work closely with credit department to communicate customer information/needs
  • Draft a variety of CP correspondence including letters and order confirmations
  • Administrative sales support – book hotels rooms, call in reservations and any travel arrangements as assigned, and handle expense reports
  • Check messages, filing, copying and other office related tasks
  • Maintain & Update MAS500 & SalesLogix database as assigned
  • Support other team members as assigned by manager
  • PowerPoint presentations as assigned
  • Work to enhance customer relationships and communications

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. This individual must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. He or she must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret common reports and documents. He or she must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and the ability to effectively present information to co-workers, supervisors and management.
