AVIOM PREVIEWS A360 DISPLAY AT INFOCOMM 2014

iOS App to Provide Unique Display Information for Aviom A360 Personal Mixers

Las Vegas, NV, June 18, 2014 — Aviom is pleased to announce that it is previewing A360 Display™ at InfoComm 2014 in booth #C11522. A360 Display is an iOS application that provides a visual display of mix information on an A360 Personal Mixer. Using A360 Display, a performer can view volume levels, Stereo Placement™ information, tone and reverb levels, as well as signal levels for each mix channel in the A360. In addition, the app will allow users to name channels and presets as well as see the customized network slot map for the selected A360.

The app's multi-channel views allow users to see a given parameter for every channel in the mix at one time, providing important information that "helps musicians mix smarter instead of just turning up a particular channel," explains product research and development manager, Ray Legnini. The Volume View, for instance, allows the user to see all the channels in comparison to one another. With the Stereo Placement View, performers can make sure that they maintain good stereo imaging in the mix, which is critical for a natural sounding mix, especially when using in-ear monitors. Tone and Reverb information is also provided in its own view. "A360 Display will help musicians make and maintain more musical mixes," adds Legnini.

The Meter View is also a helpful tool for performers and engineers alike, displaying real-time signal level for each channel. A meter for the digital mix output is available on the Master View.

"This is a great extension of the user interface on the hardware itself," says Legnini. "With the A360 and A360 Display, you get the convenience and reliability of hardware-based control and the rich information a screen-based display can bring."

A360 Display is designed for iPhone or iPod touch, which fits conveniently in the built-in tray on the A360 Personal Mixer. Also required is a D800 or D800-Dante A-Net Distributor, which communicates with the iOS device through a connected WiFi router.
