Product Details
The Aviom16/o-Y1 A-Net Card eliminates the need for an analog input module when creating a monitor mixing or audio distribution system,
providing a direct digital interface between Yamaha digital products and Aviom's Pro16®
Series, including the A-16II and A-16R Personal Mixers, A-Net distributors, and output modules.
Yamaha Product Compatibility
The Y1 card fits into
any available MY expansion slot and is compatible with all Yamaha consoles and mix engines that support the Mini-YGDAI format, including:

Configuration and Setup
Configuration of the 16 input sources for an Aviom monitoring
system can be done digitally from the Yamaha console's user interface. This gives the console operator the option of routing any combination of channels, direct outputs, aux sends, groups, or sub-mixes from the console to the Y1 card as needed.
DIP
switches are provided on the face of the Y1 card for stereo link configuration of each channel pair. MY8 and MY16 mode switches on
the Y1 allow the A-Net card to be used with Yamaha digital mixers that support only 8-channel expansion cards, such as the PM1D.
The Y1 card is also compatible
with AV-P2 and AN-16/o Output Modules and the A-16D and A-16D Pro A-Net
Distributors. As with all Pro16 Series products, Cat-5e cable lengths of up to
500 feet (150 meters) are possible between devices.
**
Note: The original A-16 Personal Mixer (discontinued) is not compatible with the Y1 A-Net card. Some early A-16R Personal Mixers built prior to the release of the Y1 card are also not compatible. Contact Customer Service for additional compatibility info.
Systems
Personal Mixing System with Yamaha Digital Console
Setup at front of house is streamlined with a digital console. Shown here is a Yamaha® digital console, such as an LS9 or M7CL, outfitted with a Y1 A-Net Card. All audio routing is accomplished through the console interface, and a single Cat-5e cable carries the monitor feeds to the A-Net Distributor and Personal Mixers on stage. Multi-zone mixing systems can be built by adding multiple Y1 cards to the console.
