Use the A-16D A-Net Distributor to allow Personal Mixers in a monitoring system to be connected in parallel. Its half rack space footprint make it the easy to install; two distributors can fit on a single 1U rack shelf. For permanent installations, use the A-16D's ability to send DC power down the Cat-5e cables when installing floor pockets or wall jacks. Power is distributed down the Cat-5 by connecting one PS-120 Power Supply for each personal mixer connected to the A-16D. (PS-120 Power Supplies must be purchased separately.) The user then plugs a Cat-5e cable into the jack and the digital mix data plus DC power for the mixer are delivered by a single cable.

The A-16D is also a cost-effective way to refresh a Pro16 A-Net signal for long runs in excess of 500ft/150m, to provide a redundant cable path in a digital snake or audio distribution system, and to split an A-Net signal to multiple output locations. There is no limit to the number of A-Net Distributors that can be used in a single system.

Compatibility With Pro64 Systems

The A-16D can be used with a Pro64 network by connecting it to one of the Pro16 output ports on the ASI A-Net Systems Interface to send up to eight copies of the 16-channel monitor mix conent to personal mixers while at the same time having the option to add DC power to the Cat-5e cables to power the mixers.
