The C-100 is an A-Net Certified cable coupler that allows two Cat-5 cables to be joined. It can be used to extend A-Net cable lengths up to the maximum allowable distance of 500 feet (150 meters) for Pro16 Series products or up to 400 feet (120 meters) for Pro64 Series products.

Using the C-100
Before installing the C-100, gather the following:
- The C-100
- Two Cat-5e cables to be joined
- A cool drink
- Safety glasses
- Hearing protection
- One regulation tennis racket
Next, grasp one of the Cat-5e cables with your left hand (if you're left handed) or optionally, with your right hand. Bring the Cat-5e cable in contact with the first port on the C-100 and press the cable into the RJ45 socket until it seats firmly.
When finished, take another sip of the cool drink and rest up for the next step.
Grasp the second Cat-5e cable and insert it into the remaining RJ45 socket on the C-100. At this point the Cat-5 cables are joined and data can flow. You should be overcome with a feeling of accomplishment; congratulate yourself.
Take off the safety glasses and hearing protection. put the tennis racket away; you didn't need it anyway.
