{"id":2875,"date":"2016-07-08T10:51:58","date_gmt":"2016-07-08T14:51:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.aviom.com\/blog\/?p=2875"},"modified":"2021-12-21T12:06:14","modified_gmt":"2021-12-21T17:06:14","slug":"d800-switches","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aviom.com\/blog\/d800-switches\/","title":{"rendered":"D800 Switches"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Each of the eight A-Net ports on the front of the D800 or D800-Dante A-Net Distributor has a two-position mode switch labeled with Roman numerals <strong>I<\/strong> and <strong>II<\/strong>. The switches are used to control A-Net data flow, either unidirectional (<strong>I<\/strong>) or bidirectional (<strong>II<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2877 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.aviom.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/D800_in_rack_2345-900px.jpg\" alt=\"D800_in_rack\" width=\"960\" height=\"797\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The unidirectional mode is used with the A320 Personal Mixer and legacy A-16II Personal Mixers while the bidirectional A-Net mode is used with the A640 and A360 Personal Mixers to enable the two-way communication with the D800 when using the optional Network Mix Back and the A360&#8217;s iOS support features.<\/p>\n<p>When using the A320 and A-16II Personal Mixers with a D800, the mode switch <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">must<\/span> be set to the unidirectional\u00a0(<strong>I<\/strong>) position.
